“Personal log, Stargate 95179.46. It’s been a rough week and I don't think it's going to get any better. we’ve retro-fitted the assigned shuttles with grapplers and stabilizing tractors. Chief t’ Riuurren was right. We had to build and fit converters for the phaser emitters switching their function to tractoring hawsers.”

“The crews have been practicing emergency drills for when the computer slave routines fail and the Borg attack. During a Cardassian luau. Everyone’s running on empty and we’ll have to make sure they get adequate down time. They’re lucky like that, for the command staff we’ll have to dig deep. The stims are keeping me going for now but I’m going to have to burn off some of this energy. Time for a run. Then back to the shuttle bay to run level one diagnostics on all of the shuttlecraft modifications and update the simulation to see if we rip the yoke off again.”

"That's happened five times in the last eight simulations. The numbers are coming down, but the whole thing's got everyone on edge. This is not the ideal place to do this. The gravimetric fluctuations in the system and the crowded space around the station is making this about twelve times harder than it needs to be. It's been making for some long hours"

“Still nothing from Kiska. That’s another reason I don’t want to sleep. Most nights lately all I can see is her face.”
