Undercover and Underway

Voyage to Mutiny
Location: Shuttlebay

1st Lt. Hawthorne looked up as the com went green, "Ok, word from the ground, area is secure, the Commander wants us underway in fifteen minutes," he said aloud and adjusted his robes. They weren't a perfect fit, to more easily hide his frame.

Rolvek walked smoothly around the room, observing everyone’s disguises. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust his own work, but that it seemed a logical final step before stepping foot on an alien planet. He himself a Vulcan was more adequately suited for the mission than most, the only adjustment he had needed was an extension to his chin. His ears were an almost perfect match for the inhabitants of the undeveloped worlds they were to become temporary occupants of.

Kollin caught Rolvek's eye as it swept around the room, she faced him square on but his gaze had already passed. She was secretly delighted with her assigned disguise and excited to be part of the mission; the oxen had seen to that! Jacob MaCall, the young ensign, had shown a skill for the Utelf, a woodwind instrument from Lippershey 2. This had two advantages; he could pass as one of the groups players and also, as he and Kollin had discovered, the sound was very good at soothing the oxen. Kollin had insisted, well it had become apparent, that she would be necessary to ensure the safety of the oxen and whomever came into contact with these beasts.

Kollin looked across to Jacob then gruffly addressed the room "Jacob and I will now prepare to transport the beasts" and with that Kollin strode purposefully out of the room with Ensign MaCall in hot pursuit.

"Right, let's get down there and see this new world," Hawthorne said as he hit the panel to the back of the shuttle. He could already smell the animals clogging up his nose.
